JAIPUR, INDIA (Smart Cities News): Jaipur Smart City Limited (JSCL) has finished around nine important projects till 15th August 2021, spending Rs. One hundred forty-two (142) crores while 15 major projects are still underway for which around Rs. Two hundred seventy-seven (277) crores will be paying.
Rajasthan secured the first position among 36 states and union territories in online ranking under the smart city mission.
In the ranking of smart cities, Udaipur is ranked fifth, Kota tenth, Ajmer 22 and last but not least, Jaipur 28 in the 100 cities in India.
According to the project report list-multi level parking in chagun stadium, façade improvement in nine markets, rooftop solar panels, covering nullah for 100M on each stretch, rejuvenation of Rajasthan arts schools are among significant works. In the upcoming projects, the main factor in constructing the building of Anaj Mandi, Jaipuria Hospital, Firefighting system with a pump house, conservation and restoration of eight governments schools, temples and Ramniwas Bagh underground parking.
However, people have also said that the work done is good, and planning the latest projects is also in sync with the future requirements of the walled city, but the period taken is lengthy. Jaipur Vyapaar Mahasangh president Shri Subhash Goyal said that “We are happy with the kind of work completed and proposed, but it should be done in a time-bound manner. We had to suffer huge losses when the road was constructed in Chandpol market. There is a lack of coordination among several departments.
